PRIDE OF LATVIA IN IRELAND AWARDS 2018
2018 draws to an end, and for the first time, the “Pride of Latvia in Ireland Awards” project has been realized. The aim of the “Pride of Latvia in Ireland Awards” is to find and celebrate those people whose actions and lifestyles can be a source of pride, not only for all of Latvia, but for Ireland, and to publicly acknowledge these people.
The “Pride of Latvia in Ireland Awards” are honorary awards to recognize altruism and selflessness towards other people.
The Planning Committee has been working on this project since the start of the year. Together with all of the Latvians living in Ireland, they have found and nominated 10 outstanding Latvians.

“Latvian Three Tenors” are a part of this amazing experience.
Latvian Three Tenors are a serious, talented and versatile group of 3 people with harmonizing voices. Their songs are not presented in the usual classical genre: they also uncover the subtle and unique hints of Latvian culture. These artists sing a range of songs – the best arias from world operas, Latvian opera, operetta, and songs from movies. One of the trademarks in the repertoire of these artists is their ongoing collaborations with Latvian composers (especially J. Kulakovs), and arrangements of Latvian folk songs.
